Marrow matter
Minister of Health starts a war against the laboratories in the US. We will get back the blood worth a treasure.

Allegation: With whom did Prof.Carin cooperate ?
Minister Durmus: Prof. Carin, Head of Bilology Department of Istanbul Medical Faculty, holds, 40 thousand blood samples. Why does he not inform the public? How and with whom has he cooperated with?

Defense: We have not determined the laboratories
Prof.Dr. Carin: 54 thousand blood samples are registered in our records. Names of those who are abroad are also recorded. The labarotaries can not sell these samples. We were not the ones to determine the labarotaries.

Germany: Give the money, take the blood
" We have spent 1.6 million marks. Only 586 thousand marks have been paid. When the rest of the money is paid, we will give back the samples." has said Chairman of the German Stefan Morch Institution where there are 15 thousand blood samples.

We will sue if necessary

Mr.Durmus, Minister of Health, has refused the demand of the US labarotaries, where 94 thousand blood and tissue samples are held, to pay 3.4 million dollars. Durmus has said the following:

They have taken abroad a great total of blood samples without permission.

They should demand the money from Cenk Yabas and Furkan Bayoglu who intend to get money out of this business.

They ask for 8 thousand dollars from those who apply for blood. They ask for 33 thousand more if the convinient sample is found.

With a blood arshive such as this one, regional characteristics could be determined. Insurance companies can benefit from this.

We will apply to the International Court if necessary to get back the blood samples.
