Ocalan: Germany played part in Moldova

Lawyer Dogan Erbas of convict Abdullah Ocalan has stated that his client thought Germany took part in the capture of PKK member Soysal in Moldova. Ocalan reportedly said, "Moldova is not strong enough to have carried out such an operation. Germany is behind this. There is something not very clear in the capturing. Sometimes small countries such as Moldova co-operate in such operations in exchange for money." Concerning the Repentance Act, Erbas said that Ocalan did not believe that the Act could be sufficient to end the violence and that Ocalan thought a general amnesty more suitable for the feat. Reportedly Ocalan claims to be still influential on PKK, and that it had been through his appeals that suicide bombings have ceased.
