Twenty-one members of the terrorist organisation PKK were killed in two separate operations in Mardin and Sirnak provinces, the Turkish General Staff said on Saturday.

Four terrorists were killed and nine improvised explosive devices were destroyed in an operation in the Nusaybin district of Mardin province on Friday, according to a statement released by Turkish military.

Seventeen more PKK terrorists were killed in Sirnak province, according to the statement.
