42 people die as truck, bus collide in southern France

Engin Akgürbüz / Bordeaux, Oct 23 (DHA) – A bus and truck near Bordeaux city in Southern France have collided, leaving at least 42 people killed, including the driver of the truck. Only four people have been rescued in the deadly crash.

Meanwhile, some five people were lightly injured after the vehicles caught fire.

The bus was carrying nursing home residents.
