The tanker that belongs to Kaptanoğlu Denizcilik named M/T Puli has been attacked by the pirates in the offshore waters of Nigeria.
The pirates withheld 5 crew members along with the captain for ransom. The 4th captain and 12 crew members on the ship have continued through the Atlantic. The conditions of the kidnapped personnel are known to be fine.
