Akbank paid the most tax

32 of the first 100 firms that paid the most amount of Institutional Taxes were banks. Akbank was the first in list by paying 221.5 trillion TLs

       The record-holders of the Institution taxes have been announced. Akbank was the first in list by having realized 221.5 trillion Turkish Liras of tax. There were 32 banks in the first 100 record-holders. Minister of Finance announced Is Bankası, Garanti Bakası and the Central Bank among the institutions that paid the most amount of tax. This shows that the first four record-holders were all banks. Five public institutions were also in the first ten of the list. Turk Telekom came fifth, TUPRAS sixth, Vakıfbank seventh and Ziraat Bank ninth. Kocbank on the other hand came tenth. The 100 most tax payers list include 71 institutions from Istanbul, 22 from Ankara, two from Adana and one from Izmir, Bursa, Kocaeli, Balıkesir and Yozgat.
