Alliances

       While the competition for elections and candidacies in political parties are accelerating, precedently names for municipal administrations are being mentioned.
       Upon the fact that Dogan Tasdelen declared his candidacy for Ankara Municipality Mayorship and claimed that he will win the elections if his party makes him the candidate, activated the other parties.
       Some politicians state that they will be determining their stances according to possible alliances. Golbası's, one of the metropolitan districts of Ankara, Mayor Erdal Eren(an ANAP member) declared that he aims to be a candidate for Mayorship of Ankara. Stating that he is ready for any duty his party will assign him to, Eren said the following:
       "If I am a candidate I will get Ankara back from Melih Gokcek. Ankara Mayorship has been in contention for 10 years. If my party and people of Ankara choose me, I will bring Ankara the justice of Caliph Omer."
       Eren also stated that he will conform to the decision if his party ANAP decides to make alliances with DSP for the mayorship of Ankara and supports the candidate of DSP.
