Capital lacks natural gas

Residents of Ankara were left in the cold as the amount of natural gas remained low. BOTAS accused the municipality of consuming excessive amount of gas while other party demanded new gas sources be connected


       Pressure fall in natural gas that's flown by BOTAS to Ankara, caused troubles in the capital yesterday. People in Ankara were left in cold yesterday due to a order by Electric, Gas and Bus Service (EGO) headquarters not to operate the devices as a precaution for falling pressure.
       The pressure fall caused dispute between EGO and BOTAS. Botas officials said that to solve the problem, a secondary natural gas source link must be formed in Ankara from north and east.
