Deep investigation against the prosecutor

The Ministry of Justice launched an investigation against the Chief Prosecutor, who has been discharged of office. Cakir's properties will be inspected in detail


       It has been stated that the properties and the bank accounts of Oktar
       Cakir, Chief Prosecution of Istanbul State Security Court, who has been
       discharged of office due to an investigation, will be inspected. Cakir was
       injured in a traffic accident, while he was going to Ankara together with
       Melih Giray, a businessman who was closely pursuited by the security for
       suspecting him to have illegal relations with the underground world. Melik
       Giray was killed in the accident.
       Sources said the two inspectors, investigating the case will have completed
       their studies in Golbasi, where the event took place, in the coming days,
       and deepen investigation, including the examination of Cakir's bank accounts
       and properties. The inspectors are expected to question Cakir next week.
       Security couldn't enlighten the reason why Cakir and suspected businessman
       Melik Giray were going to Ankara yet. Cakir has raised suspicion as he was
       careful to take his two suitcases , while he was being taken to hospital
       despite his injuries.
