Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy parliamentary group chairman Engin Altay criticised President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s remarks on two journalists’ release after three months in jail.

Everyone should respect to constitution, CHP deputy says referring President

Altay said: “Whoever lives in Turkey, regardless of his position, has responsibility to respect the constitutional law. The President lost his right to be respected after he made those remarks yesterday. We cannot expect others to respect the legal system if we do not respect it.”
