Potato producers in the Ödemiş district of İzmir province complained about the price decreases in potato.

They stated that one kilogram of potato was going for 5 Turkish Liras last year. Now, one kilogram of potato costs 35-40 kuruş. Producers have offered several suggestions including to boost exports or to serve more potato dishes at public institutions.
