FlyDubai plane crashes in Russia: 62 on board killed
A passenger jet from the United Arab Emirates crashed in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, killing all 62 people aboard.
The FlyDubai Boeing 737-800 took off from Dubai, missed the runway while attempting to land in strong winds at 03:50 local time. The plane was carrying 55 passengers; 33 women, 18 men and 4 children, mostly Russian and Ukranian. Investigative committee spokeswoman Oksana Kovrizhnaya said the investigations would take at least two months.
