Human shield for Karadayı

       Commander of General Staff Ismali Hakkı Karadayı came to Athens yesterday to attend Western Europe Assembly Top Generals meeting.
       The visit which has followed the sabotage of Turkish Military Ambassador's automobile alarmed the Greek security department. The police forces have taken extra ordinary measures against any PKK or Greek fans threat. A human shield was set up around the Turkish General to avoid any problem which would increase the tension between the two countries. For the protection of 18 commandirs who stay in Asteras Hotel 30 km. close to the capital where the summit will take place, the department has charged 3500 police together with divers and boats.
       General Karadayı who is the first Generel Staff commander visited Athens since Commander Necip Torumtay, has received great attention in Greek public. Greek press gave broad place for the visit on tv yesterday.
       The Top Generals summit, to which Turkey will attend as the observer country, will start in Asteras Hotel today. The important part will be held tomorrow.
       The members will evaluate the activities of the organization of which Greece has the rotatory presidency. The meeting in which the commanders will discuss the relations between WAA and NATO, also considers common military exercises.
