"If the inflation can't be reduecd, there should be an early election"

The civilean initiative which played an important role in the resignment of the Welfare government warns the ANASOL - D with a statement in which it is underlied that a failure in the anti - inflationary efforts will threaten democracy. The statement also says , "If the inflation can't be rediced there should be an early election"

Chairsmen of TURK - IS, DISK, TISK, TOBB and TESK (all unions) met in Istanbul on Monday to evaluate and to find solutions to the problems on Turkey's agenda. In the joint communique they released the chairmen warned that the government should find a way to practice successfully the economical, social and political measures they announced as it took office, they also pointed to the fact that these measures have not be actualized to date. The joint comminuque also says in case the stated problems of the country can't be solved, it is inevitable to hold an early election by making alterations in the election and political party legislations.

The joint communique made public by the TISK Chairman Refik Baydur says "The government's main duty is to find a solution - to the anti - inflationary efforts - that rests on a social compromise. The governments which fail to conduct successful anti - inflationary efforts threaten the democracies. It is a must for the governments to launch the basic reform laws provided that they meet he necessities in the public."
