Turkey would not make any changes to its terrorism laws, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has vowed again in a written message released on May 9 to mark Europe Day.
“I hope visa liberalisation will help alleviate the weariness in Turkey caused by being kept waiting at the EU’s doorstep for over 50 years, constitute a positive step in fulfilling the promises made and accelerate Turkey’s accession process,” Erdoğan said in the message.
