Secretary-General Gürsel Tekin failed to get enough votes from the party's delegates to be elected to the council. New names will be members of the Party Council.

Only 29 names included in Kılıçdaroğlu’s ‘key-list’ made to the party council. Selin Sayek Böke, deputy chair in charge of the economic policies, received the most votes for the party council with 691. Öztürk Yılmaz, Gaye Usluer, Hakkı Suha Okay, Çetin Osman Budak and Ali Öztunç are expected to make it into the Central Decision-Making Council (MYK).
