New accusation in Goktepe case

A petition has been filed to bring a suit for the Ministry of Interior and Senior Security Officials who are accused for causing the judiciary enquiry to divert, hiding the commiters of the crime and destroying the clues of the Goktepe case.
The attorneys, Ali Saydi, Kamil Tekin Surek, Semih Mutlu, Mustafa Ucdere, Leyla Han and Enver Akan brougth the accusation petition to Eyüp Administration of Justice on behalf of the Goktepe family. In the petition it has been stated that former Minister of the Interior Teoman Unusan, former Istanbul chief of the security department Orhan Tasanlar, former deputy chief of Istanbul security department Kemal Bayrak and former Eyüp chief of security department Mehmet Ali Aydın Akdemir said Metin Goktepe "hadn't been taken under police supervision" and "died because because he fell down the from the wall" after the murder of Metin Goktepe in Eyup Gymnasium in 8th January 1996. As the accused officials are the chiefs of the police officers who were charged in Eyup Gymnasium that was used as a police station on that particular day, they are claimed to commit the crimes of covering up the crime, causing the judiciary enquiry to divert,destroying the clues, hiding the committers.
