       The Constitutional Board of the Parliament approved an amendment for
       the internal regulations bidding the female deputies to attend the
       parliament sessions without wearing head - scarf, in accordance with the
       agreement of the coalition party leaders.
       If the amendment is legalised, the 56th article of the Internal Regulation
       will bid "The Deputies shall not wear head - scarf in the sessions of the
       Turkish National assembly," and the female Parliament members will not be
       allowed to wear head scarf in social facilities as well.
       Deputies the Virtue and True Path Parties objected to the motion that has
       been suggested by the all DSP commission members and Cavit Kavak, Isin
       Celebi and Suhan Ozkan from the Motherland and Sevket Yahnici and Mehmet
       Sandir.
       All of the DSP deputies and Kavak, Celebi, Ozkan Yahnici and Sandir
       positively voted for the proposal. Although Sadik Yakut from MHP and
       Ertugrul Yalcinbayir supported the commission members from the Virtue and
       the True Path, the motion passed with 11 votes against 10.
