Peace and security in the Middle East were not possible without solving the crisis in Syria, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated at a conference in Ecuador.

Erdoğan visited the capital city of Senegal, Dakar. At a joint news conference with Senegalese President Macky Sall, Erdoğan talked of the refugee crisis. Erdoğan said, “Whoever does not help to solve this crisis is responsible for refugees who drowned in the Mediterranean Sea.”
