Saglar from CHP: Susurluk goes on

Stating that the Susurluk problem still goes on, CHP Icel Deputy Fikri Saglar said, "Susurluk is not a matter of police, but of order. And the solution does not lie in police ways but in refining the mafia gladio order that has been going on for 50 years."
Saglar stated that the declaration Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz gave, showed how involuntary and reluctant the government was about Susurluk. He said Yilmaz's recognition of Susurluk was positive, however he could not show enough will to solve the problem when he was in power. Saglar made the following statement:
" His biggest deficiency is to display Susurluk only as a mafia move and as organizations for material benefit. Even though material benefit is in question, the political side is more important. These gangs aim to annihilate the republic regime and the state of law. In this aspect, Susurluk is a matter of regime and independence. The solution lies in re-constructing the mortified state mechanism within the direction of democratic law state principles."
Stating that Susurluk goes on and is not a matter left in the past, Saglar said, " Saying it is left in the past is trying to cover the incident up. Because this is not an incident that will be solved only by investigating 15-20 police and MIT officers. Launching that gangs are cleaned because they have arrested 3-5 mafia leaders is deceiving the public eye."
