"The Economist"s comment for Cakici

The Economists comment for Cakici

It has been stated that the capturing of Alaattin Cakici and bringing into light his relations to Abdullah Catli who died in Susurluk accident two years ago, has lit the light of hope for Turkey. In the comment of the Economist it has been stated that "This is the best opportunity that Turkey has ever had, to have a better appereance than being a country which hides the corruptions instead of applying the laws."
The article reminded Mesut Yılmaz's statement that "We will not give up to investigate" and underlined that only a few low rank security officials have been accused and the contact points in higher posts have been designated for higher posts.
The comment defended that the decisions of the National Security Board and the "military circles" which are disturbed because of the appereance of the country, have an important role for the capturing of Alaattin Cakici and on the determined manner of the government.
It has been written in the article that "However, even Mr. Yılmaz wants, it seems hard to change the tolerant manner of the majority of the Turkish people for those like Alaattin Cakici and Abdullah Catli. Because Catli and Cakici explain their activities as if they are in a war against Kurdish seperatists and Armenian terrorits respectively."
