"The MIT phones that are said to be declared by me, are in all the reports" has said Hanefi Avcı who talked in the Beypazarı Prison.

Former Chairman Representative of the Chief of Police ıntelligence Department, Hanefi Avcı who was put in prison because he has declared phone numbers belonging to the National Intelligence Agency(MIT) stated that he has been treated unjustly and said, "I have been wanted to be silenced. They are saying 'keep quiet' to those who know and want to talk."
The Republican People's Party Izmir Deputy Sabri Ergul has visited Avcı in Beypazarı prison with a special permission he has got from the Ministry of Justice. Ergul stated that Avcı has emphasized that the inquiry about him had been started 7 months ago, his testimony was taken 3 months ago and that certain interferences had been effective in his arrest.

According to what Ergul has quoted, Avcı has said the following at their meeting:
"These are not obstacles for me to say the truths. I know that I have the public behind me. I have just stated the necessity to search all those who are included whether civilians or soldiers And I had gotten permission to say all these. I want to believe that justice is going to work.
If there is a political will the Susurluk will be solved. I wanted to be silenced. Struggling against gangs is our common problem. I believe I will be out of prison soon. When I am out I will go on with my struggle in a more concious manner.
Even the prosecutor who has taken my testimony was surprised at the things that happened to me. The MIT phones tha are said to have been declared by me are in all of the reports."
