Vakıfbank support to tourism sector

       Altan Kocer who was appointed as the head of Vakıfbank is the 6th general director since May, in other words in 10 months. He says stability is of great importance in the banking sector and added that it is very difficult to tell the six changes at the senior level especially to the foreign bankers.
       Mr. Kocer plans to launch the novelties in the bank for which he works for 21 years. He also says he wants to continue to what the former directors started. "For the primary aim, we chose the tourism sector. I have sent all the vice presidents to Alanya. We started standart loan packages of 50 to 350 marks in Alanya, where hotel running is widespread. We have sold 10 million mark loans in two days. We will enlarge the package programme in especially Bodrum, Kusadasi, Marmaris in the Egean region.
       He underlined that the dynamics of the turkish economy lies in small and middle scale comparnies (KOBI) of industry and services. But he says, "private banks should back up these companies. We can't loan in Turkish liras because we are oftside the KOBI bills, although we have all the infrastructure. But on the other hand they want us to loan in Turkish liras.
