(Video) Davutoğlu hails supporters in Konya, as AKP heads to parliamentary majority

Hasan Dönmez - Bahar Demirel - Tolga Yanık / Konya, Nov 1 (DHA) - "This victory is not of ours, it is the victory of our nation" said Prime Minister and Justice and Development Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, as polls show AKP heads back to parliamentary majority, after Nov 1 elections.

Before his balcony speech in Ankara, Davutoğlu made a speech hailing AKP supports, in his hometown Konya where he has cast vote.

"It is the day of victory, and it is the day of humbleness. With the help of Allah, we will be serving you and in the presence of you in the next four years and in 2019, once again" said Davutoğlu.

Davutoğlu added, "We have never turned our back on you. You have cherished us, even in the hardest days, may Allah bless you. The victory belongs to the nation".
