"We must be careful" say Virtue Party seniors

       A statement by the Chief of Staff Secretary General, shocked the Fevzi Kutan headed Virtue Party. On a statement by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) that the "TSK shouldn't be pulled into the political arena", Mr. Kutan, who previously said they receive signals that the army admire them, displayed a different attitude yesterday: "Statement by the Chief of Staff Office is right. I fully agree with them. The TSK mustn't bu pulled into politics."
       Virtue Pary headquarters lived an extraordinary day yesterday because of the army statement. The Vitue leader Fevzi Kutan assessed the statement of the Turkish Armed Forces with his top seniors including Cemil Cicek, Abdullah Gul and Abdulkadir Aksu.
       Mr. Kutan then made a special interview with Milliyet daily. "Office of the Chief of Staff is equally distanced to all parties. This is also what we agree. The TSK shouldn't be pulled into politics. We can't think of a different approach. I made that statement to express that we have no concerns over the army. My words rest on a question asked to me" Mr. Kutan was quoted as saying.
