"I may reveal the facts about the failed assasination to the justice" said Korkut Ozal

       Democrat Party leader Korkut Ozal said he knows who was behind the assasination attempt to his brother Turgut Ozal the 8th President of Turkey. "When Turgut Ozal told the name to me, he wanted me never to tell it anywhere. The name behin the attempt had shocked him. He was a prominent man in the Ozal period. He is now on the backstages. There are also others who are aware of this name" he was quoted as saying.
       Mr. Ozal also said that he may tell the name of the person who planned the assasination, to the official jurisdiction departments of the state. Korkut Ozal went on his statement as follows:
       "Revealing this name thoughtlessly doesn't comply with my understanding of politics and jurisdiction. Besides, Turgut Ozal told me not to give the name to anyone. But this only has only way out. If a jurisdiction mechanism takes the responsibility of investigating the subject and if the indepent prosecutors want to learn what he told me, then I have to explain everything. A statement before jurisdiction is not a statement, but to give the necessary information"
       Mr. Ozal stressed that he never talked about this subject enywhere for 10 years and said with a careful investigation the incident will come into daylight. "Just like points in the front, I saw there were some points at the backstage. I think it will be proper for jurisdiction to press for it. But some circles may want to cover it up" he added.
