10 'parallel' suspects remanded in custody

10 out of the 26 people have been arrested. The ten suspects are all alleged to be part of a ‘parallel state structure’ by Fetullah Gülen.
The remaining 16 people who were referred to court have been released. The detentions took place on Monday after police officers conducted raids on 40 locations on the orders of İzmir Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Okan Bato. 10 suspects were referred to Criminal Court of Peace after their statements were taken.
