20 million-dollar expert scandal

Akın claimed that the signature on cheque was not hers. Özgenç and Akın divorced in 2006 after they returned from the U.S. The couple was ordered to share their 40 million-dollar fortune and Akın gave 20 million-dollar cheque to Özgenç. After two years, Özgenç and claimed that Akın did not pay her bill. Akın filed a lawsuit against Özgenç claiming that the signature on cheque was not hers. An expert also confirmed Akın’s claim. Özgenç individually applied to the Constitutional Court. The case concluded and the Constitutional Court said Akın signed the cheque herself.
