Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Antalya deputy Deniz Baykal, the former party chairman, has delivered a speech on his visit to the party building in the Bucak district of Burdur province.

Baykal: “People who live in the eastern Turkey have just started to rise against terrorism. Actually, I am glad. They have understood that they do not take advantage from terrorism and the terrorism has pointed the gun at them. They have started to say, ‘I need a state that protects me’.”
