An operation launched against the PKK in various cities of Mecklenburg

The spokesman df states' criminal department stated that the security raided
37 houses, shops and refugee hostels, and propaganda materials have been
confiscated during the searches.
However te spokesman also stated that nobody
has been arrested in the
operation launched in certain places that the PKK can use, whose activity
has been forbidden in Germany since 1993.
"Most dangerous organisation"
At the mean time German Protection of Constitution Society stated that
it is not certain whether the armed groups would adopt PKK's new strategy of
disarmement and the new PKK members and sympathisers in the country has
reached to 12 thousands 400.
An annual report announced by German Interior Minister Otto Schily,
considered the PKK as the strongest and the most active Kurdish group in the
country.
The report which underlined that the PKK made more frequent attacks after
its leader Abdullah Ocalan is captured in 1999, reminded that the
organisation also gave up its ideology for independency or autonomy as well.
