Civil servants and workers to make a historic meeting tomorrow

"Labour Platform" including civil servant and workers' unions besides representatives of democratic community organizations met Turk - Is headquarters to make a pre - assessment of tomorrow's meeting at Kızılay Square in which they will criticize low wages and increased age limit for retirement. In a press conference after the meeting, Turk - Is Director General Bayram Meral, told tot reporters that they discussed actions they will take before and after the historic meeting.
Mr. Meral also told to reporters that despite rightful protests of civil servants, workers and pensioners targetting the social security law draft and and 20% pay rise, the government hasn't yet signalled a positive message.
Mr. Meral complained that the 20% wage increase is much lower than increase in fuel prices and that this can't be defended in any ways.
