In the ceremony for Tunceli martyrs, Commander Kilinc said he doesn't
agree with those who say that terrorism is over
The commander of the third army Tuncer Kilinc said, terrorism still
continues in Turkey and he doesn't agree with those who say it is over.
The funeral of Gendarme Officer Bulent Yavuz, Officers Ercan Solak, Asım
Gokmen, Abdullah Kose, Mustafa Gonen and Gokcen Ozkaya, who were killed in a
clash with PKK in Tunceli Province was held in Elazig Military Hospital.
Elazig governor Lutfullah Bilgin, Tunceli governor M. Ali Turker, Commander
Tuncer Kilinc, the commander of the 8th army Koksal Karabay, Elazig Mayor
Hamza Yanilmaz and other military and civil authorities have participated in
the ceremony.
"Terorrism still continues in Turkey. A group of people with bad ambitions
try to harm the happiness in this country and prevent it to improve. However
they work for nothing. We should fight hand in hand to finish terrorism. The
thought that only the struggle of the Turkish Armed Forces would be
satisfactory is wrong. Such a struggle would take longer."
