Bartın Deputy Governor Özgün Aydın Özmen’s son, police officer Ozan Özmen, was martyred.
Özmen was wounded during an anti-terror operation in the Nusaybin district of Mardin province two weeks ago. He died in a hospital yesterday. Gendarmerie Mustafa Karaman, was wounded in the same operation, was also martyred. 30,000 people attended his funeral ceremony in Çorum province.
