Ecevit's record

       DSP minority government established with the Prime Ministry of Bulent Ecevit, got the Parliament's vote of confidence with the support of 306 deputies. The 56th government established with the support of ANAP and DYP, have gotten three votes from CHP despite CHP's group decision and 7 votes from the independant deputies.
       The voting had been held yesterday in TBMM's General Assembly. This has been the first voting in the history of the Republic that has been done electronically. Ecevit reached a record through getting 306 votes of favor. 43 deputies have not attended the voting.
       CHP deputies Seyfi Oktay, Yahya Simsek and Sahin Ulusoy have voted in favor of the 56th government despite their party's binding group decision.
       Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit made a speech after the voting expressing his gratitude. Ecevit stated that their fundamental aim was to take the country to the elections on April 18th safely. He also congratulated everyone's Ramadan Bairam.
       Bulent Ecevit visited Suleyman Demirel together with the Board of Ministers after the voting. "With his sucess in forming the governmnet, Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit saved the country from a difficult situation. Now the country is relieved. Forming the government had been difficult. This difficulty stemmed from the Parliament's formation and arithmetics." said Suleyman Demirel, while Ecevit thanked him for his trust.
       The Prime Minister have also visited Mesut Yilmaz and Tansu Ciller thanking them for their support.
