Facebook now has 1.55 billion monthly active users. Facebook’s adjusted net income was $896 million during Q3 and generated $4.5 billion in revenue.

The company’s Instagram application has reached half-billion monthly active users, Messenger has reached 700 million monthly active users and WhatsApp has 900 million users. David Wehner, Facebook's chief finance officer, said: “We aggressively invest for future. Virtual-reality, artificial intelligence and our similar projects will continue.”
