Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the German Parliament’s resolution recognising the mass killings of Armenians by Ottoman forces as genocide a 'historic mistake.'
Erdogan: “One parliament’s decision does not change history. Other countries took such decisions against Turkey but they were not strong enough to make genocide a reality. This resolution has no significance for Turkey.”
