"Many things were heard. That there were shootings, ha there were arrests... which did not happen," said Dimiris Reppas, government spokesman.
In the latest incident, which had similarities with Imıa crisis three years ago, Greek media had reported a violet confrontation beween boatloads of Turkish journalists and coast guard vessels near Plati. According to Reppas, he coast guard told the two Turkish boats they were in Greek waers "and they went away. There was no episode. That's how things were."
