Join the consortium

       Emlak Bankasi President Erdin Ari told that a consortium will be formed for the letter of comfort for the Turk Ticaret Bankasi tender awarded to businessmen Korkmaz Yigit. Mr. Ari also stated that he was asked if Emlak Bankasi will be included in the consortium.
       As Korkmaz Yigit's recently released video tape flashes light on the claims about Emlak Bankasi and Yapi Kredi, the Emlakbank President told that they gave no loans to Mr. Yigit.
       Erdin Ari said that first of all Korkmaz Yigit had to apply for being included in the consortium and then they would have done the necessary investigations. but he added that Mr. Yigit made no application to the Emlak Bankasi.
       "Korkmaz Yigit neither sent any letters of comfort to our bank nor he applied for receiving credits. If he had done these, we would be investigating the documents as ruled by the procedure. Rejecting a demand was out of question for the lack of an application. We weren't included in the consortium. We were only asked if we would be in it or not", th Emlak Bankasi President was quoted as saying.
