Last word is YSK's

Former Chairman of the Turkish National Grand Assembly(TBMM), Hikmet Cetin said that the Higher Eelection Board(YSK) holds the initiative about the fall of Merve Kavakcı's deputy.
Stating that the Higher Election Board is the institution to take away Merve Kavakcı's official report, Cetin has made the following evaluation:
" YSK is the institution to say the last word about this issue. YSK may say that one of the conditions to be a deputy has been lost so Merve Kavakcı's membership to the Parliament is no longer valid. I believe that the authority is YSK's. However if the issue is brought to the agenda of the Parliament, I believe a voting on the issue in the General Assembly is not necessary. I believe that the issue needs to be solved by the Higher Electionn Board."
DSP deputy Uluc Gurkan also stated that a new judiciary procedure has started now that Merve Kavakcı is no longer a Turkish citizen.
