       Turkey rolled up sleeves for year 2000 in tourism industry. 300 buses in New York will be decorated with posters of Turkey under the framework of year 2000 performances of Tourism Ministry. A giant advertisement campaign will also be launched in the most popular newspapers, magazines and internet sites of US. A joint introduction campaign of Turkey and Israil will start as of March 8.
       Turkey, which failed to attract enough number of tourists due to ecenomic bottleneck, terror and lack of advertisements, launched a big effort for year 2000. The campaign, which is expected to start before February in biggest US newspapers, will continue at magazines and internet sites.
       One of the interesting leg of the campaign is city buses. 300 of buses in New York will tour the city with Turkish posters for two months. The campaign will be carried out with cooperation of Turkish Airlines.
