Oppose to provocations

Taking a gratitude plaquette from Fethullah Guven, President Suleyman Demirel said " I take this reward as given to Turkey's indivisible integration and for her to live in peace."

When presenting the gratitude plaquette to President Suleyman Demirel at the National Compromise Rewards ceremony organized by The Journalists and Writers Association where he is the chairman of honour, Fethullah Gulen has said the following: " I am honoured to present this plaqutte to our President. If it were to be possible I would have wanted to present the hero of tolerance and compromise not only a small plaquette but a bouquette of our most deep feelings."
The rewards ceremony had gathered approxiamately 300 people among who are famous people of business,art,media and politics at the Hilton Exhibition Center the other night. On the field of business world the chairman of Dogan Firms Group Committee, Aydın Dogan has also got a National Compromise Reward. Demirel said the following at the ceremony:
" I am on the side of such moves as tonight that reinforces the union of the Turkish Nation. If there is anyone who wants to provoke us and create uneasiness within eachother, oppose them. Whatever belief you carry or whichever ethnic root you belong to, this state and land is yours. You are all equal. You have paid off the prices for all these. Let's all hold on to eaechother. I appreciate all this. This ceremony has been very instructive. I take this reward as given to Turkey's indivisible integrity and for her to live in peace."
