U.S. Vice President Joe Biden met on Friday with deputies from the AK Party, the CHP and the HDP in Istanbul.
“PKK is a terrorist organisation. They should lay down their arms and should declare a cease-fire. The PKK and the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) must be seen as two different organisations,” Biden said, according to some deputies in the meeting.
