Possible Operations against ISIS

Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioğlu briefed that there might be an operation against ISIS; however, any land operation of Turkey alone is not on the agenda.
In the further remarks of Sinirlioğlu it has been recorded that Bashar al-Assad’s being a candidate for the elections is not even a matter of discussion; “Assad will resign on the agreed time and conditions.”
Having attended to the G20 Summit in Antalya, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu informed the journalists about the negotiations between the states including Russia, the U.S. and Turkey in Vienna, Austria in order to achieve a diplomatic solution for the civil war in Syria.
“This is the third meeting regarding Syria. The first one was a quadripartite, second and third ones were large group meetings. There were 20 participants in the meeting and in the end, we reached an agreement on the issue,” said Sinirlioğlu.
