Practitioner appointed as director general at SSK

Controversial appointments by the Motherland Party (ANAP) is continuing. The ANAP wing this time appointed son of a former ANAP lawmaker and a 64 year - old bureaucrat as director generals to the Social Security. The Nationalist Action Party (MHP) wing of the government on the other hand accelerated the process. Ayse Donmezed and Teoman Kerman were assigned as deputy Treasury Undersecretary.
According to the appointment decrees, took effect after being approved by President Suleyman Demirel, SSK Deputy Secretary General Omer Cakmakoglu and Selahattin Aras were taken from office by Labour and Social Security Minister Yasar Okuyan. Tuncer Donmez, the representative of the Labour Ministry in the SSK Executive Board was also taken from his office.
