Presidency fight starts early

       In the general meeting of Tek - Gıda Is Union, Teksif leader Zeki Polat sharply criticized Turk - Is Union leader Bayram Meral. Zeki Polat claimed that Turk - Is administration failed in process of passing the social security law. He called Bayram Meral to give up presidency at the Turk - Is congress in December 1999.
       Teksif president Zeki Polat said a union member must risk being imprisoned for this cause.
       Turk - Is leader Bayram Meral, who was chosen as head of council at the congress, reminded that Zeki Polat is also a member of Turk - Is Presidency Board.
       He indirectly refered to Mr. Polat and said some union leaders didn't attend the Kizilay meeting on July 24.
