The operation that hit Hizboullah: Malazgirt

The first blow on the bloody terror organization, Hizboullah, have been through 'operation Malazgirt' to a villa in Beykoz. After the leaders and the arshive for the organization's actions have been caught, 5 more operations have been organized.

       The Internal Affairs Ministry have given a briefing to press members about the savageness of Hizboullah. Along with tapes of execution, important information have also been released to the press. The briefing stated that the leaders of the organization and an archive of their actions have been caught through "operation Malazgirt' to a villa in Beykoz. Right after this operation, "Celebi" in Ankara, "Konya" in Konya, "Hicret" in Icel, "Sis Dagi" in Mardin and "Sura" in Mardin were the names of the operations against Hizboullah. 57 dead bodies of Hizboullah members were found after all these operations.

30 Hizboullah member teachers

       The briefing also stated that 119 civil servants were caught who were members of Hizboullah. 30 of these civil servants are teachers, 17 are workers, 21 are imams and 3 are doctors. " In the operations between 1991-1999, a total of 5.490 people were taken under custody. Currently there are 506 imprisoned. 419 guns, 87 hand bombs, 94 bombs, 3 automatic guns and many other types of arms have been confiscated." stated the briefing.

Governor's driver found out to be Hizboullah member

       Many Hizboullah members have been caught through operations carried out against the organization all over the country. One member is a governor's driver. Siracettin Bakan, who has ben the driver of the Governor of Van, have also been taken under custody with grounds that he is a Hizboullah member. 38 people have been taken under custody in Van, among whom are 12 civil servants. The following are the developmnts in the operations carried out gainst Hizboullah all over the country:
       * Diyarbakir: 33 people have been taken under custody for having relations with Hizboullah organization.
       * Sirnak: 50 people are under arrest
       * Malatya: Three of the four people who have been taken under custody have been sentenced by Malatya State Security Court (DGM)
