Turkey can be a leading golden exporting country

While Turkey has been the fourth country in golden consumption after India, US and China, it has supplied $1 billions just by selling 65 tones to the tourists. The owner of Goldas Sedat Yalınkaya, which has sold processed golden to Canada, Mexica, Germany, Dubai, Hong Kong and even to South Africa which is the leader in golden production said "We can catch the world leader in the export of processed golden, Italy in 2000's, with an income of $5 billions a year."
Sedat and Hasan brothers who have been working in the textile sector, saw that the golden sector has a future and decided to export golden in 1993. Sedat Yalınkaya stated that they have only exported golden until 1995, when they started to work for the domestic market as well.
Mr. Yalınkaya who stated that they try to set a concept of mark in the domestic market said, and in the foreign markets in case the current problems are solved, the exportation will be increased. Mr. Yalınkaya summarized the problems in golden exporting and the solutions as follows:
"Italy gains $5 billions in a year by exporting processed golden. The secret of Italy's success is renting by leasing that processing and selling. In Turkey leasing in golden sector is not allowed. The Finance officials say in case the inflation accounting system is not applied, the golden leasing will not be freed. Moreover the bureaucracy in export regulations are very tight. For example, the mint controls the standart of the golden. While this makes the Turkish golden respectable, the process gets longer."
