Turkey celebrates Istanbul conquest

The biggest stage was set up for the celebration of 563rd anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul on May 29.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim attended the celebrations.

Nine thousand police officers, five helicopters, one submarine, one frigate, three coast guard boats, and 27 police dogs were present at the celebrations for security.
Turkish Air Force’s Turkish Stars aerobatics team flew past Yenikapi where the celebrations were held.
