Turkish PM condemns US support for PYG, YPG

Photos of U.S. special operations forces wearing the insignias of the YPG on their shoulders during an assault on Syria’s Raqqa had emerged on May 27.

Erdogan referred to these photos and said: “I condemn the United States support for PYD and YPG. This is not what was promised to us. Politics should be conducted honestly. Our allies who are with us in NATO cannot send their own soldiers to Syria, with insignias of the YPG.”
