TV affects political preference

       TV broadcasts are now determining factors on political
       preferences. %13.3 of voters change their political choices with the
       effect of TV and radio programs. Broadcasts effect the men's choices the
       most. Propoganda speeches and party commercials take the first places in
       the list of programs that effect preferences the most.
       Mehmet Mete, Deputy Chairman of TRT Broadcast Planning Coordination and
       Evaluation Department, made a reserach on "political broadcasts" within
       his work named "The effects of TV broadcasts on the Turkish Society"
       The research held in 9 cities and many districts of these cities, show
       that political preferences of 13.3 percent of voters are affected by TV
       and radio programs. Men who have changed their preferences are 14.89
       percent where as this number is 12.78 percent in women. Those who are
       not graduates of Primary school are the ones who change their choices
       the most in affect of TV's.
       Affect of TV and radio broadcasts are more intense in small districts.
       15.64 percent of the people who live in small districts with a
       population of less than 10 thousand, change their political choices
       getting effected by broadcasts.
